A cube is a three-dimensional figure formed by six identical squares, so it is also called a regular hexahedron or a cube. Its English spelling is Cube.

Cube Features

1. A cube has 12 edges, and the length of each edge is equal.

2. A cube has 8 vertices

3. A cube has 6 faces with equal areas

4. If the edge length of a cube is enlarged n times, the total edge length is enlarged n times, the surface area is enlarged n² times, and the volume is enlarged n³ times.

5. Use the same small cubes to make a large cube, at least 8 pieces are needed

The lines ac = cd = db = ab are called sides. Each angle (i.e. endpoints: a, b, c and d) is called a vertex.

Each plane such as (abcd face) is called a face of a cube.
