Mixed numbers are another form of improper fractions. The fraction formed by adding a non-zero integer to a proper fraction (or subtracting it from a proper fraction if it is a negative integer) (or the simplified number after adding and subtracting a proper fraction from an improper fraction) is generally read as a few fractions, and the reciprocal of the improper fraction must not be greater than one.
Mixed numbers are a form of fractions, usually discussed within the range of positive numbers. If discussed within the real number part, the absolute value that meets the narrow definition of mixed numbers is a generalized mixed number. Mixed numbers contain two parts: the integer part and the proper fraction part. There is a one-to-one correspondence between mixed numbers and improper fractions.
